Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

Systematized by US psychologist Marshall Rosenberg, Nonviolent Communication (NVC) offers a profound shift in how we understand and relate to one another. Rather than relying on patterns of domination, coercion, or blame, NVC invites us to build relationships grounded in collaboration, mutual care, and shared humanity.

At its core, NVC cultivates both honest self-expression and empathic listening, helping us understand others more deeply while also feeling more fully understood ourselves. It provides practical tools for navigating conflict, challenging prejudice, and moving beyond separation by recognizing our shared human needs while honoring the richness of our differences.

Because language shapes the way we perceive ourselves, one another, and the world we create together, NVC is more than a communication model—it is a practice of individual and collective transformation. By fostering connection, accountability, and compassion, it offers a powerful pathway for transforming conflict, strengthening communities, and contributing to meaningful social change.
